FAMILY LAW/PI PARALEGAL (CHANDLER )

General litigation law firm, is seeking an experienced paralegal for one of its partners.
i
Competitive compensation, billable hour requirement of 1400 a year, work hours Mon-Thursday and half days on Friday offered.

Requirements:
i

i
• Paralegal degree or certificate from ABA accredited institution
i
• 5-10 years of experience in the legal field
i
• Ability to recognize basic legal issues
i
• Ability to maintain effective communication with clients and attorneys
i
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage firm calendar
i
• Experience in preparing pleadings including disclosure statements and written discovery
i
• Working knowledge of the Arizona Family Law Rules of Procedure
i
• Strong writing skills
i
• Ability to work well independently and as a team player
i
• Professional attitude and teamwork emphasis
i
• Efficient filing, and typing ability
i
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
i
• Ability to electronically file documents with state and federal courts
i
• Experience with any of the following programs is a plus: WordPerfect, Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook and eCopy
