Paralegal (Litigation) (Rancho Bernardo)

We have an exciting opportunity in our Legal Department for a Paralegal to provide our in-house counsel with legal research and administrative support.
|

|
Additional duties include;
|

|
**Assist with document retrieval, review, organization and production
|
**Maintain case pleadings, correspondence, discovery and research
|
**Write concise memoranda to summarize research results
|
**Maintain document, transcript and work product databases
|
**Conduct basic legal research
|
**Coordinate work with outside document/litigation vendors, including adherence to strict deadlines
|
**Respond to subpoenas and other requests for information
|
**Serve as Custodian of Documents for significant litigation matters
|
**Other duties as assigned
|
Desired Skill Set
|

|
**Strong written and verbal communication skills
|
**BS/BA degree and Paralegal certificate from an accredited ABA school
|
**Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm or equivalent
|
**Proficient in MS Office
|
**Strong internet skills to to locate specifice items on the internet
|
**Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmnet with or without direct supervision and coordinate multiple projects
|
**Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills
|
**Strong writing and editing skills
|
