Process Server (Sacramento)
Process servers deliver legal documents to persons. This is a part-time job mostly during evenings and weekends. It is more interesting than delivering pizza and not as dangerous. The legal documents relate mostly to family law, credit card collections, personal injury and landlord-tenant claims. You may set your own schedule to some degree. You must have a reliable, economical car with insurance. The starting pay is $8.00 per hour and .55 per mile. We have had a lot of students, law students, and persons on a legal or paralegal track finding this job a useful introduction to nuts and bolts legal work. We have been in business since 1978. You must become a Registered Process Server, buy a bond (totalling about $350), be fingerprinted, have no felonies and live in Sacramento County. We will help you with the Registration and bonding. You don’t need to take classes or be tested for it and we will train. We are re-posting this ad because the first time didn’t work out.i
