Administrative Law Firm – Paralegal (Natomas)

In this position, you will work closely with the firm’s attorneys and paralegals in supporting the representation of our clients. Our clients include licensed professionals and businesses who expect nothing but the best. i

The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, with solid organizational and analytical skills. They must be able to communicate well with potential clients, clients, staff, and attorneys. They must be ready and willing to accept the additional responsibilities and projects ad-hoc as you would expect in a growing law firm.i

Duties and Responsibilities:i
i
• Work closely with the Managing Attorney and leadership team.i
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to constantly changing priorities.i
• Maintain attorney/hearing calendars.i
• Interviewing clients.i
• Case fact-gathering and retrieving.i
• Engage with attorneys in case planning and recommendations on how to proceed.i
• Conduct legal research.i
• Draft, revise, and produce legal pleadings and briefs.i
• Ability to produce correspondence, proofread for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.i

Qualifications / Skills:i
i
• Bachelor’s Degree i
• Appropriate certification as a Paralegal (see California Business and Professions Code section 6450(c)).i
• 0 to 2 years of Paralegal experience. i
• Basic accounting skills with a high degree of accuracy.i
• Prefer:i
• Experience in marketing, public relations, client intake, accounts receivable, human resources, operationsi
• Strong client relations skills.i
• Previous experience working for any of the California Departments (e.g. Real Estate, Medical Board, Alcohol Beverage Control, etc.).i
• Bilingual-Spanish. i

Pay / Benefits:i
i
• $12.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on relevant experience and skills.i
• Vacation, Medical/Dental/Vision/Long Term Care after six (6) months.i
