Personal Injury – Paralegal (work from home)
Job Description:|
Busy, fast-paced plaintiff personal injury law firm seeks experienced, responsible, detail oriented, and very organized candidate for full time work at home paralegal.|
Applicant must have 5 YEARS personal injury litigation experience. Step into existing caseload and discovery schedule. Self-starter, team player, computer literate, you must have prepared legal documents, including motions, oppositions, subpoenas, and discovery responses. We need someone who can work well with others and be proactive. Please respond with resume, salary history, and writing sample. |

Tasks:|
• Telecommute and work from home |
• Analyze legal cases and respond to discovery and prepare motions|
• Answer phones, take accurate and detailed information, discuss potential cases with lawyers and transfer calls to them or other staff members.|
• Maintain your own files in an organized manner.|
• Provide general office assistance|
• Interact with lawyers on a daily bases|

Qualifications|
• Bilingual (Spanish) plus |
• Strong verbal communication skills|
• Strong time management and organizational skills|
• Strong work ethic and problem solving skills|
• High level of interpersonal skills and demonstrated poise and diplomacy|
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and under pressure|

Skills:|
•Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and WordPerfect. Casemap, textmap, and timematters knowledge (or other similar legal organizational programs) would be a plus.|
